Whitton is a 496-person town in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, the first settlement in the MIA and now a Leeton Shire village. Almost everything sits on two blocks of Benerembah Street. The two draws that justify a detour — Whitton Malt House and Whitton Beach — are both more than 10 km south of town and need a car.
