The honest verdict
Providenciales is flat and spread out along one long road. The beach and its shops are walkable only in one short stretch; the reefs, the marina and the conch shacks are separate short drives. Trips go wrong when hurricane season, a rental car that is not booked, or a late flight with no transfer is met with no plan. Four clusters cover a first visit, with the boat day to North and Middle Caicos as the one long trip.
