Paracuru is a weekend beach escape from Fortaleza: 2 nights for kitesurfing, dunes and nightlife. A day trip is tight.
Paracuru, 90 km west of Fortaleza, is a growing kitesurfing and weekend party town on Ceará's coast. Its appeal is the combination of dunes, freshwater lagoons and a lively square that fills with pavement bars on Friday and Saturday nights. Most visitors come for two nights; a day trip from Fortaleza is possible but rushed.
