Hot and humid all year (27–31 °C) with rain in every month. February to April is the driest stretch; June to October is wettest, with the south-west monsoon making some west-side dive sites rough in July–September. Palau is south of the main typhoon belt, but Bopha (2012) and Haiyan (2013) showed it can be hit.
