Oslo by district
The centre lies between Oslo S (the central station) in the east and the Royal Palace in the west, with Karl Johans gate between them. The harbour front, City Hall and Akershus Fortress are south-west of the station, the Bjørvika waterfront with the Opera House and MUNCH is south-east, Grünerløkka is a tram ride north along the Akerselva river, and Frogner and Vigeland Park are west.
