Oklahoma splits into two city bases and a set of country drives. Oklahoma City holds the memorial, the cowboy museum and I-35; Tulsa holds Western art, Art Deco and the northeast lakes. Between them, I-44 and old Route 66 run the Turner and Will Rogers turnpikes. Sleep in one city, drive out for the Wichita Mountains, Talimena Drive or a casino night, and keep a weather app open in spring.
