Nuuk is a long, narrow town along a peninsula. The colonial harbour and the cathedral sit at the south end, the main road, Katuaq and the shopping streets in the middle, and the Nuussuaq district and the airport road to the north. A taxi or bus links them in 10 to 25 minutes.
