Nang Rong is a small Isaan town serving as the nearest base for Phanom Rung Historical Park and Prasat Hin Mueang Tam. One night allows a full morning at each site and time to explore the town’s market and 7‑Eleven. Motorbike hire is cheap and roads are good.
