Middlesex County is the middle band of Jamaica: Saint Ann's north coast, the Spanish Town plain, and the cool hills of Manchester and Clarendon. It holds Dunn's River Falls, the Blue Mountains' western slopes and the island's main north-south highway. Sleep on the coast at Ocho Rios for beaches and falls, or in Mandeville for hill air and coffee country. Spanish Town is a half-day for its cathedral and old capital history, not an overnight.
