McBride

McBride is a village of about 600 people in the Robson Valley, on Highway 16 between Prince George (210 km) and Jasper (166 km). It is a rail and forestry town with a rebuilt 1919 station on Main Street, a small museum, and trail networks for summer biking and winter snowmobiling. Most travellers use it as a break in the drive or a stop on the VIA Rail Jasper–Prince Rupert route.

Get around
McBride is small and mostly walkable along Main Street and 1st Avenue. A car is needed for the recreation sites, trailheads and lakes outside the village; there is no local bus.
