Magalawa Island
Go for a 2-night beach escape if you want a quiet island with white sand, snorkelling and mangroves, and you have your own transport to Palauig.
Magalawa Island is a small (56 ha) island off the coast of Palauig, Zambales, known for its white-sand beaches, clear water and the Armada Resort eco-tourism operation. It's a back-to-basics destination: no rice paddies, no big resorts, just fishing, snorkelling, mangrove treks and quiet. Most visitors come for 2 nights, arriving by boat from the mainland.
