Libreville by district
The centre and sea front (Bord de Mer) sit on the shore, with the cathedral and museum close together. Mont-Bouët, the big market district, lies inland to the east. Nkembo, with its church, is north of the centre. Sablière, a residential and hotel area, runs along the shore to the south. Owendo, the port, lies further south; the airport is north.
