Libon
Skip unless you have a specific reason to visit (ferry to Masbate, Paroy Festival, or farm stay). Half a day is enough: see the market, walk the town, then move on.
Libon is a small agricultural town in northwest Albay, known as the 'rice granary of the province'. It has a working port (Pantao) connecting to Masbate and the Visayas, a lively public market, and the annual Paroy Festival in July. Most travellers pass through on the way to Legazpi or Camarines Sur. The nearest airport is in Daraga (DRP), about 45 minutes away.
