Lenzerheide
Go for 2–3 nights if you ski or ride: 155 km of slopes, 52 km of cross-country tracks, and a bus from Chur in about 30 min.
Lenzerheide is a Graubünden valley resort at about 1,500 m, halfway between Chur and the Arosa–Lenzerheide ski link. There is no train station: you arrive by PostBus from Chur or by car off the A13. Two to three nights covers the slopes or the marked trails; one night only works if you are passing through. Winter is for skiing and sledging, summer for hiking, biking and the Heidsee lake.

Get around
The resort is walkable, and local buses plus the PostBus link the villages along the valley. In winter, ski lifts and a ski bus connect the slopes; in summer, marked trails start from the village. A car helps for side valleys but is not needed inside Lenzerheide.
