Kynopiastes
Κυνοπιάστες
Half a day is enough: walk the lanes, see the church and olive museum, then move on to Corfu Town or the coast.
Kynopiastes is a well-preserved Corfiot village 10 km south of Corfu Town, known for its 17th–19th century mansions, narrow tiled lanes and leafy squares. The main sights — the Church of the Virgin Mary with 18th-century frescoes, the Monastery of Agia Paraskevi and the island's only Olive Museum — can be seen in a few hours. Most visitors stop here as part of a Central Corfu day trip.
