Krui
Go for 3–4 nights if you surf or want empty beaches; skip if you need nightlife, English speakers or easy logistics.
Krui is a rough port town on Lampung's west coast, but the beaches north and south are long, white and nearly empty. The draw is consistent surf breaks (Karang Nyimbor, Tanjung Setia) and access to Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park. Accommodation is basic, English is limited, and the journey from Bandar Lampung takes 5–6 hours by road.
