Kapit
Spend 1 night in Kapit to see a longhouse and night market; reach by 3½‑hour boat from Sibu (20 RM) arriving ~6 PM.
Kapit is a small river town in Sarawak, reachable only by boat from Sibu. A single overnight covers the main attractions – a longhouse visit, the open‑air night market and a walk around the centre. Longer stays are only needed for river‑based excursions beyond the town.
