Hillsborough is a suburban township in Somerset County, about 1 hour west of New York City by car. Its main draw is Duke Farms, a 1,000-acre former estate turned nature reserve with gardens, trails and a visitor centre. Otherwise the town offers chain hotels and restaurants along US-206. Most travellers pass through on the way to the Delaware Water Gap or the Pennsylvania Poconos.
