Hellertown is a small borough in the Lehigh Valley, sitting on the south side of South Mountain from Bethlehem. Its one real sight is Lost River Caverns; everything else is parks, a Sunday farmers market and quick access to Bethlehem, Allentown and Easton by car. Treat it as a cheap, quiet bed for one night, not a destination.

Getting around

A car is close to essential: sights are spread out and LANTA Route 215 (Westgate/South Bethlehem line) is the only useful bus, running between Hellertown and Bethlehem. From I-78 take Exit 67 and turn left at the light whichever way you arrive. Taxis and rideshare exist but are thin late at night.
