The station is inside the airport complex, signed from arrivals. Trains toward Geneva Cornavin run frequently through the day, and the ride is short enough that standing with a suitcase is normal. Cornavin is the transport hub for the city: trams, buses and the lake boats all connect there.

Taxis wait outside arrivals. The run into the centre is short but the meter adds up in traffic; expect CHF 35–50 depending on destination and time of day. Rideshare pickup points are usually in the same area, marked on the app.

Buses serve some routes but duplicate the train for the centre, so they are mainly useful if your hotel sits on a specific line. Airport-area hotels often run their own shuttle; ask before booking a taxi.

If you are continuing beyond Geneva, Cornavin has direct trains to Lausanne, Bern, Zurich and the rest of the network. Buy the through ticket at the airport rather than two separate ones.
