Gemas
Spend a few hours waiting for a train or overnight if you miss the last service; 0–1 night is enough.
Gemas is a railway junction town in Negeri Sembilan, roughly halfway between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The whole centre is walkable in 10 minutes, but most visitors only need time to catch a connecting train or wait for the next service, making a half‑day to one night sufficient.
