Cainta

Spend a half‑day in Cainta for a quick market visit and shrine stop; otherwise use Manila as base.
Cainta is a small town 16 km east of Manila, reachable by bus, jeepney or LRT‑2. Its main attractions are the Our Lady of Light shrine, local markets and malls. One morning or afternoon is enough unless you plan to shop extensively.
