Asmara by district
The visitable centre is compact: Harnet Avenue runs east–west through the middle, with the cathedral and mosque quarter to its north-east, Fiat Tagliero and the modernist streets to the south, and Medeber market to the south-west. Most of it is walkable in a day at an easy pace.
