Weather and seasons
Temperatures sit between 28 °C and 33 °C every month, and the north-east trade wind keeps the coast comfortable even in August. The dry season runs roughly December to April; the wetter stretch is October to December, when showers are usually short and often overnight. Aruba lies south of the usual hurricane tracks, so direct hits are rare, but storms passing to the north can push swell onto the west coast and delay flights.
Sea temperatures stay warm enough to swim all year. Wind is the one real seasonal difference: June and July are the windiest months, which is good for kitesurfing and slightly less good for still, flat water.

Peak season is mid-December to mid-April, when hotel rates and flight prices are at their highest and Palm Beach and Eagle Beach fill up.
