About these names
There are no formal districts on Niue: fourteen villages ring the coast road, and Alofi (in two parts, Alofi North around the wharf and government buildings, and Alofi South towards Tepa and the airport road) is the only one that functions as a town. Everything else is a village of a street or two, a church and a few houses.

A limestone arch and cave system at the north tip of the island, reached by a long forest track and a steep chain-assisted descent: only for a fit, sure-footed visitor with a full morning, closed shoes and a torch, not a stop to fit between other things.
