Zunheboto
Zunheboto is a half-day stop for the Sumi Baptist Church and Ghosu Bird Sanctuary, not a base. One night if you want to birdwatch at dawn.
Zunheboto is a small hill town in Nagaland, 200 km from Dimapur. Its two draws are the Sumi Baptist Church, one of Asia's largest, and the Ghosu Bird Sanctuary, a stop for migratory birds June–September. Most travellers pass through on the way to Tuensang or Kohima.
