Get around
The centre is walkable: Depot Town to downtown is about 15 minutes on foot, and the Border-to-Border Trail follows the Huron River. The Ride (Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority) runs local buses between Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor; adult fare about $1.50 with free transfers within 90 minutes (check). Free parking is common outside downtown and campus. There has been no rail service to Ypsilanti since 1984 — the nearest Amtrak stop is Ann Arbor.
