Yetman
Go only if you are driving the Bruxner Highway and want a pub bed and river camping: one night, no more, and fuel up before you arrive.
Yetman is a hamlet of about 200 people on the Macintyre River in New England, 30 km south of the Queensland border and 71 km from Goondiwindi. There is no taxi, no bus you can rely on, no bank and no ATM. It works as a single overnight on a driving route, or as a base for river camping and the national parks nearby. Without a car you cannot get here or leave.
