Yellapur
Half a day for two waterfalls, then move on: Yellapur is a nature stop, not a base. Stay in Sirsi (50 km) for more options.
Yellapur is a small town in Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, set in the Western Ghats. Its reason to stop is Sathodi Falls and Magod Falls, both within 25 km. The town itself has limited accommodation and food; most travellers use it as a quick detour between Hubli and Karwar or as a morning trip from Sirsi.
