Yajiang
Skip Yajiang unless you need a sleep stop between Kangding and Litang on G318: one night, no more. The town has one temple and noodle shops, nothing that justifies a detour.
Yajiang is a dusty, modern Tibetan town at 2,900 m on the Sichuan-Tibet highway (G318). Its single street and small hilltop temple take an hour to see. Most travellers use it as a bed for the night between Kangding (5 h) and Litang (4.5 h) when the road or altitude makes a longer drive unwise. There is no reason to stay longer.
