Yabelo
Yabello
A half-day stop on the Addis–Moyale road: see the wildlife sanctuary, then move on. Not a base.
Yabelo is a small town on the Trans-African Highway 4, 570 km south of Addis Ababa. Most travellers pass through on the way to Kenya or the Omo Valley. The Yabelo Wildlife Sanctuary is the main draw, but the town itself has basic services and a few places to eat and sleep.
