Xinovrysi
A quiet Pelion village for a half-day beach stop or one night if you want a cheap meal and a swim; not a base for exploring the peninsula.
Xinovrysi is a small hillside village in South Pelion, about 50 km from Volos, with a handful of beaches (Potistika, Melani, Mourtitsa) a short drive away. The village itself has a traditional square with cafes and tavernas, a 1778 church, and little else. Most travellers use it as a lunch-and-swim detour between Milina and Argalasti or as a cheap overnight stop.
