Wisbech
Skip unless you have a specific reason: Georgian architecture, Peckover House or the Fenland Museum. Half a day covers the centre; no train station makes it a detour from King's Lynn or Peterborough.
Wisbech is a market town in the Cambridgeshire Fens with a well-preserved Georgian riverside and a National Trust property. Its three railway stations are closed, so you need a bus or car from King's Lynn (12 miles) or Peterborough. Most visitors come for the architecture, the museum or the brewery tour; the town itself is quiet and compact.
