Get around
MBTA bus 712 and 713 run seven days a week between Orient Heights Blue Line station and Winthrop. The Winthrop Ferry runs seasonally from Winthrop Landing (705 Shirley St) to Quincy, Logan Airport, Boston Seaport and Boston Aquarium (Central Wharf), daytime only, $6.50 one way. A car is useful for the Belle Isle and Point Shirley ends, and beach parking can fill on hot summer weekends.
