The Westside runs from La Cienega Boulevard west to the Pacific: Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, Marina del Rey, Westchester, Pacific Palisades, Playa del Rey and the Beverly Hills edge. It is a cluster of beach towns 10–30 minutes apart by car and much longer in traffic. Sleep in one place, walk or bike the beach path, and treat the rest as short hops. A car helps; the E Line and buses cover the core.
