Westkapelle
Come for one full day and one night: beach, dike walk, light tower and Polderhuis. Base here only if you have a car or bike; buses stop around 20:00.
Westkapelle is a small dike village at the far west tip of Walcheren in Zeeland, about 2,700 people, with a wide North Sea beach, two light towers and a war history that shaped the whole peninsula. It is a beach-and-bike stop rather than a sightseeing city: one night covers it, two nights if you want slow beach days and day trips along the coast.
