Wamrong
Wamrong is a lunch stop on the Trashigang–Samdrup Jongkhar road, not a destination: 1–2 hours for a meal and the ridge view, then move on.
Wamrong is a ridge-top village in Trashigang district, eastern Bhutan, where inter-district buses between Trashigang and Samdrup Jongkhar stop for meal breaks. That traffic built its reputation for cheap, good food. There is no major sight beyond the view down the mountains to the Assamese plain, so most travellers pass through in under an hour.
