Vyazma

Vyazma is a small town in Smolensk Oblast, about 200 km west of Moscow. Its main draw is the chance to fly a jet fighter from the local airbase — a once-in-a-lifetime experience that costs about €2,000 including transfer from Moscow. The town itself has a few churches and a war memorial, but nothing that justifies a dedicated trip unless you are already passing through on the M1 highway.
