Vourvoulos
Skip Vourvoulos as a base unless you want a quiet, car-dependent village with one beach and a winery; stay in Fira or Oia instead.
Vourvoulos is a small village on Santorini with a volcanic sand beach and a winery. It has no shops, restaurants or nightlife. Most travellers pass through on the way to Imerovigli or Oia. A half-hour stop at the beach or a wine tasting is enough; do not plan a stay here.
