Viruveedu
Skip Viruveedu unless you are visiting the 300-year-old Gurunathaswamy temple or passing between Madurai and Kodaikanal: a 30-minute stop is enough.
Viruveedu is a small village of about 5,500 people in Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu, best known for the Sri Gurunathaswamy temple on the Batlagundu–Usilampatti road. Most travellers use it as a quick stop en route to Kodaikanal or Madurai, not as a base.
