Virpur
Half a day is enough: visit the Jalaram Bapa temple, eat the free meal, then head back to Rajkot or continue to Junagadh.
Virpur is a pilgrimage village 53 km from Rajkot, known as the birthplace of saint Jalaram Bapa. The main draw is the temple that serves free meals to all visitors and accepts no donations — a rarity in India. Most travellers stop here for a few hours en route to Junagadh or Somnath.
