Ullal is a coastal town 10 km south of Mangalore, known for its beach, the Someshwara Temple and the Ullal Dargah, a major Muslim shrine. The Netravati and Gurpur rivers meet the sea here. Most visitors come for a few hours from Mangalore; the town has one resort and a handful of local eateries.
