Uga
Uga is a half-day stop for the Orie market, not a base: pass through on the way to Awka or Igbo-Ukwu. Check locally if Obizi spring is open.
Uga is a small trading town in Aguata LGA, 45 km south of Awka. Its main draw is the Orie market (one of the largest in the area). The Obizi Uga spring is a local landmark but visitor access is unconfirmed. The annual Obuofor festival is on 26 December. Most travellers use it as a brief stop between Ekwulobia, Igbo-Ukwu and Awka.
