Uberlândia
Give Uberlândia one night as a road or flight stop in the Triângulo Mineiro: parks, a big market and Rondon Pacheco's bar strip. Two nights only if you are here for business.
Uberlândia is Minas Gerais' second city, a service and agribusiness hub on the BR-050 between São Paulo and Brasília, with a small airport (UDI) and a long-distance bus terminal. It is not a sightseeing destination: what it has is Parque do Sabiá with its zoo and 5.1 km running track, a 1920s municipal market, a compact centre, and Rondon Pacheco Avenue, the city's eating-and-drinking corridor. Most travellers pass through on the way to Uberaba, Araguari or the historic towns further east.

Get around
The centre is walkable, but sights are spread out and buses are slow; use apps (Uber, 99) or taxis for Parque do Sabiá, the airport and the malls. Distances are short: most cross-town rides run 15–25 min. Renting a car makes sense only if you are continuing to Sucupira Falls or the BR-365 towns.
