Triangle
Skip Triangle as a destination: it's a roadside stop on I-95 with a few chain hotels and fast food. Use it only as a sleep base for Marine Corps Base Quantico or Prince William Forest Park.
Triangle is an unincorporated community of about 5,500 in Prince William County, Virginia, squeezed between Dumfries and the Quantico Marine Corps Base. There are no notable sights, no walkable centre and no reason to visit except to sleep cheaply while visiting the base, the National Museum of the Marine Corps or Prince William Forest Park. Most travellers pass through on I-95 without stopping.

- Restaurants: Tip 18–22% and wait for the check; avoid: Leaving without tipping
- Personal space: Keep an arm's length in queues; avoid: Standing close to strangers
- Politics and religion: Listen more than you speak; avoid: Opening with hot-button topics

- The National Museum of the Marine Corps is in Triangle but on base; check visitor access rules.
Triangle is a low-crime area. The main risks are I-95 traffic and summer heat.
