Get around
The historic centre is compact and flat: most sights, beaches, restaurants and ferry terminals are within a 15–20 min walk. Local buses link the old town with the suburbs, beaches and the Erice cable-car lower station. Taxis are limited and best booked by phone; app-based ride services operate alongside them. A car helps for the salt pans, Segesta and rural beaches, but parking in the centre is tight.
