Get around
A car is the easy answer: streets are a grid, I-70 and I-470 link the districts, and parking is free or cheap almost everywhere. Topeka Metro buses run the main streets at $2 a ride, $18 for a 10-ride card and $50 for a 31-day pass (2026 estimate); buy at Quincy Street Station, 820 SE Quincy St, or at Dillons stores.
