Numbers & prices

Type a price, see how it is said and hear it read aloud; then practise by ear until market prices stop sounding like noise.

Say a price in Spanish

$ / € 150

ciento cincuenta pesos / euros

  • In much of Latin America prices use $ for pesos — not US dollars. Ask '¿pesos o dólares?' if unsure.
  • Spain and Latin America write 1.500,50 where English writes 1,500.50.
  • 'Uno' becomes 'un' before a noun: veintiún euros, un millón.
