Get around
A car is the practical choice: the Garden State Parkway (exit 81 for downtown, 82 for Route 37) and NJ-37/NJ-70 do the work. Downtown is walkable and the bus terminal sits about 15 min on foot from the core. NJ Transit buses run Route 9 between Lakewood and Atlantic City, and Ocean Ride links the mall to downtown except Sundays in the off-season. Taxis, Uber and Lyft cover short hops; fares vary.
