Tiznit
Stop for 2–3 hours on the Agadir–Tafraoute or Agadir–Sidi Ifni route: walk the ramparts, buy silver, then move on. Not a base.
Tiznit is a walled market town in the Anti Atlas, known for silverware and as a supply stop for longer trips. Its compact medina can be seen in a few hours. Most travellers use it as a lunch-and-walk break between Agadir and Tafraoute or the South Atlantic Coast. Summer heat (above 40°C) makes early-morning or late-afternoon visits best.
